My research bridges the fields of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Programming Languages, and Computer Science Education. I aim to make programming accessible to all by improving the design of programming environments through studying programming behavior of non-professional programmers, such as novices and scientists. I recieved a MS degree in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Maryland, and a BS degree in Computer Science from McGill University.
